...........while all the owd fuddy ‘supporters’ that can hardly get out of their seats shout w@nkers at the joyous excited fans on the field.
Worked with you tho cocker. But seriously I’d rather see the scenes like those at Villa with fans celebrating with the players on the field - than a stale boring lap of honour. I thought the scenes at Villa were great. And then I realised if those scenes happened at Oakwell then we would see a torrent of abuse from fans on here slagging off those happy fans.
Theres a massive difference between having summat to celebrate and a bunch of ignorant tossers wilfully ignoring ground rules for no other reason than they can.
6/10 for effort nudge. Unfortunately I have to deduct 1 point as you wouldn't be in attendance if it happened at oakwell anyway
Nothing to do with happy fans. It’s just that modern day obsession that so many have these days to get themselves on the telly. “Look at me, look at me”. Pathetic as well as dangerous. Morons with smoke flares as well.
What did we do after the last game in the 70s? All I can remember is wandering out of the ground and heading off home.. Promotion seasons aside, I can't remember any of this post-match jubilation or players coming back out for laps of honour. They certainly wouldn't have shown their faces after a bloody relegation season!
I like to see fans on the field - even during a match when we score in the corner of the Ponti. It shows PASSION for the club !!!
I can remember that happening at the end of Clarke's and Hunter's promotion seasons, but not for the run of the mill seasons. Maybe I wasn't interested in sticking around. Or maybe I've just forgotten it...
