I bet if the royals had to pay for the wedding out of their own arse pocket it wouldn’t have been so lavish Once again the tax payer has to foot the bill Has there been any sightings of Harry’s dad in the crowd
Not a royalist but a heck of a lot of people have really enjoyed themselves today. I can think of worse wastes of taxpayers money
France gains far more financiallythrough Tourism than England.. and they spend nothing propping up a royal family.
Not a fan of the royals myself but know a lot of folk who have thoroughly enjoyed today.Don’t understand the original (ironic?) comment, live and let live and all that
Because you don’t like it you start branding people ****s. Think it says a lot more about you than people that enjoy celebrating the wedding. Personally not in the least bit interested. I do appreciate the money that floods into the country partly on the back of the monarchy though. And just like an olympics or hosting a euros costs millions, the income far outweighs the outgoings. You’re clearly a **** though. Not sure I need a poll to tell me that.
Why do some people have to be so downright nasty and obnoxious. I don't care either way about the Royal Family but we don't half put on a show in this country which I love, and thousands of people have had a thoroughly good day. The day will have brought millions of pounds of tourist money into the country and more than covered the cost many times over. So stick your nasty cheap comments up your arse.
I absolutely think we should abolish the royal family but I think the strongest arguments for doing so are ideological rather than financial.
The full estimated cost is £35 million and it has been met in full, by the Royal Family. The Met Police had to foot the bill for security, but expect to get some assistance from the Government through public funds.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you have a hidden agenda. Admit it, you work in the guillotine industry, don't you?
