Would like to see Exeter and Rotherham promoted

Exeter and Shrewsbury are far better away days and would be good for the weekend!

Fulham or Villa in the other one? Not bothered either way

I think Rotherham will beat Shrewsbury in the final from what I've seen of them both.

Hope Exeter come up for the new ground, but I've a feeling that Coventry will be far too strong for them.

Would be interesting to see villa have a 3rd season in the championship as it will be the last year of their parachute money, although I'm not sure if that would have a major impact on them.

Fulham, Shrewsbury & Exeter for me.

Would love Hurst as our manager, and that wouldn’t happen if they go up, but would love Shrewsbury to get to the champ.

Reckon it will be Fulham, Rotherham and Coventry though. Thought of going to Coventry again makes me shudder.

Even if we're top of the league and they're floating around the relegation zone, we'll obviously lose there to nil. Without registering a shot on target until the 93rd minute, when we get a penalty saved.

Went there when we got beat 3-0 and it was ******* freezing. Absolutely horrendous day and hoping Exeter come up just to go to a new ground. Probably be on a Tuesday night like.

Coventry would be a local game for me but The Ricoh is cursed, so Exeter up from League 2, Shrewsbury to stay down in League 1 for me. Both lovely places and Exeter a new ground for many.

As for the championship, both Villa and Fulham have spunked millions only to finish behind Colin's ragtag Cardiff side, so I couldn't care less. If I had to choose I'd say Fulham up as they play better football.

    Same for me those picks.

Fulham: Simply because it would be funny to see Villa spend another year outside the top flight. Credit though to Steve Bruce who's lost both his parents this season and still managed to do a wonderful job despite horrible distractions.

Shrewsbury: Should have gone up automatically and will be good for Stefan Payne to play in the second tier. Radio Sheffield wouldn't be a good listen with Rotherham fans rubbing it in that they are in a higher league than us.

Exeter: Don't think we've played them in the time I have watched us and our record against Coventry is terrible.

Me aswell mate. I really dislike going there, playing badly and their fans rubbing it in.

Exeter would be great. Bit of a trek, but if at the sunny ends of the season could be a nice day/night away.

Last time we played them was the 1980/81 promotion season in the 3rd division. you have to be nearly as old as me or JLWBig Lil to remember back that far so I am fairly sure you never had the chance to see them. I've never been to their ground and am hoping they get promoted. I wont be going to the Ricoh ( though I did see us avoid defeat against Coventry when we played them at Northampton a few years ago - Hourihane scoring both our goals if I remember correcly)

Wow they can't be many teams out of the 91 that we've waited longer between matches with. Away there would be a trek but a decent weekend away depending on when it was.

Lita got the second goal, I believe. Was at that game.

I used to play in the same team as Steve Flack who used to play for Exeter City for 10 years (also played for Cardiff).

You are right now you mention it - Hourihane with a free kick and Lita from a Hourihane corner - I was at the game too honest :)

Be a year for it with us playing Accrington. Last time we played them was 1960.

Yup, I was there. November 1980, we won 1-0 and Glyn Riley scored. We had three away matches at Plymouth, Portsmouth & Exeter in succession that Autumn and won them all, 3-1 at Argyle & 1-0 at Pompey.
We won the return game at Oakwell in the April 1-0 too, Neil Cooper getting the winner.

I was there too. Floodlights on telegraph poles and nets to stop the balls going out of the ground. :)
