    Very good player i'd like an older head in our back line to bring on the likes of Pinnock, Lindsay, Jackson, & McCarthy who are collectivley inexperienced. Is anyone in the Championship going to be in for him at 31 years old? Could we afford him.

    I've no question he'd be good enough for League One and having played here for 3 seasons could help us.

    Ye probably agree only thing against him is his age but would be a good signing for Bolton or one of the teams promoted.

    Apparently good mates with Lee Johnson so wouldn't be surprised to see him at Bristol City.

    He's fvcking terrible.

    Captain when we finished below Doncaster Rewvers.

    His 'toast' song is good. His defending isn't. We should go for M'Voto and Nyatanga while we're at it. The Holy Trinity.

    Strange post.

    Just because he was captain when the club as a whole did poor doesn’t mean he’s a bad individual player.

    He’s loads better than M’Voto & Nyatanga.

    Proven, solid, championship player

    Given how bad we were at the back last season my mind boggles how people can refer to Cranie as poor and how he wouldnt improve our back line up playing in league one.

    Interesting similarities between those two seasons.... woeful fullbacks, non existent midfield.... no wonder the centre backs get mauled.

    Lovely multi positional player. I’d welcome him back with open arms. He just the type of calming influence and experienced player we could really do with to compliment the talented but rather raw back line.

    Not for me , I do not dislike the lad but I was always of the impression he was not quite strong enough, especially when defending set pieces

    Folk on here make me laugh. This is a guy that played 14 games in a Championship promotion winning team last season and then 3 Premier League games and 9 games for a play-off reaching Championship team this season. Okay, so didn't play every week, but for two top Championship teams. Yet he wouldn't be good enough in League One. Lol.
