Martin is a smashing player unappreciated by neanderthals because he isn’t a ‘traditional’ I.e dirty defender. It won’t happen as he’s still too good for L1 but he would massively improve our squad.

Dependable professional he was. Barely played for his past two clubs, so his legs should be younger than his actual age. His experience would be invaluable to our defenders who have played a big fat zero league one games before and have experienced a failure of going down.

Cranie and Lindsay would be unbeatable at this level as a pairing. As much as I'd like it to happen it's supposed to be a fair sporting contest.

I watched him at Oakwell for 2 or 3 seasons and he was terrible, but let’s sign him anyway as he’s had a good season with Huddersfield.

He must be one of the most relegated players ever

I cannot believe the clamouring for Crainie , people have short memories , when he was with us before he was at his best bang average & has not exactly had a great amount of game time since . Also , apart from Adam Hammill I can never remember a player returning to our club for another spell actually being successful

Completely disagree. He was quality while he was with us.

Would have him back in a shot.

He played with the worst LB/RB the clubs ever had as a pair in Wiseman and Kennedy as this is how people judge him lol. He'd be a very good signing for league one it amazes me how people this at present Jackson/Lindsay/Pinnock/Pearson are better players. Yes some of these may become very good players in the future but we have a very inexperienced back line and it showed countless times last season.

    He's rubbish.

Poor in the air and regularly out-muscled.

The opposite isn’t a pre-requisite of being a successful central defender. Matty Pearson for example is exceptional in the air and is incredibly strong in fact he rarely gets out muscled.

I personally would favour someone with a footballing brain and a bit of guile alongside a more agricultural type.
