Simon Yates, wow, in pink and looking good, Froome above 2 minuets down and not in the top 10.
Looks like we have another star in the making.

His twin Adam has looked good too in previous races. Both will be challenging for palmares over the next few years.

Great attack from Yates today but Dumoulin dug in to narrow the time loss.

Amazing race going on here if you can watch it. Froome going for it from 80km out

Gutted for Yates, was really hoping that he was going to win. Superb ride from Froome today though, back to the way he used to ride around 2012/13 era, actually attacking and not relying on the team( or team orders maybe??) to lose the opposition.

Hate to sound cynical but all I could think of when I was watching Chris Froome was Floyd Landis & judging by a search of Landis’ name on Twitter I wasn’t the only one.

I’m torn between thinking I’ve watched one of the best stages of a grand tour I’ve ever seen or the biggest farce of a performance since Landis

    I think you’re probably right.

I’m very cynical about sport now.

In cycling every time a cyclist come good in the third week I always think they’ve had a blood bag on the rest day. I’ve probably read too much about Operacion Puerto & Tyler Hamilton’s book
