I’d **** him off anyway. For what they are paying him they can get a more than decent defender.

Caught absolutely flat footed for Fulham's goal - not taking anything away from its quality.

He was an absolute joke player today. Static, and any team playing them next year just run at him, or even walk at him with a slightly elevated tempo, and he’s done.

Hope Villa keep him on for another year & £100k a week or whatever it is. £15m Less parachute payments next year. If they don’t go up next year it’s going to be a struggle. How many clubs gamble at getting back up in 3 years.

Just had a quick look at villas Facebook page and some are saying the owner needs to spend more money for next season.

They live in a different world.

They are screwed. Less parachute money, loanees going back, guys out of contract and bigger clubs will be wanting their better players like Grealish.

Huge summer ahead for them. I can see Bruce not fancying it and actually leaving. Not to take anything away from Fulham though. They said they made 26 squad changes last summer. Similar to what we need to do this. It worked for them and it would hopefully work for us.

Grealish is waste of space he looks at every player that stops him playing the best players just get on with it. How many times was he rolling around on the floor after nothing challenges today.

His leg was probably still sore from when it got stamped on, when Fulham should have gone down to ten men.

You said you'd be happy to employ tactics that DannyWilsonLovechild had called disgusting. The stamp was part of those tactics.
Sorry, but I'd prefer us not to use 'win at all costs' tactics. I'd prefer to see us beating the opposition through skill, ability and hard work. I'd hate to see us employ tactics such as seen today, like Michael Brown's disgusting challenge on Jacob Butterfield or Chris Morgan's on Iain Hume.

I wouldn’t touch Grealish, a fitter version of George Moncur, lots of neat & tidy play but virtually every time he gets the ball in the final third he gives it away.

Not going up yesterday has apparently put Villa in dire financial straits. As well as Terry, they are preparing to lose
some of their prized assets to ensure they don't continue to flout the FFP rules.
Players such as Jedinak and Hogan earn £2 million plus per season, that's before meeting the wages
of players who have not played this season e.g Micah Richards and Ross McCormack. Owner Tony Xia is facing
losses running into tens of million pounds. He is already planning drastic cuts and it's likely they will have to cash in
on some of their most prized assets. First through the door is likely to be Grealish who they believe will command a
fee approaching £20 million. It's likely that James Chester and front men Jonathan Kodjia and Albert Adomah will also
have to be off loaded. Their training complex at Bodymoor Heath is part of the site for the new HS2 rail link, so they will be due quite an amount of compensation for that and Xia could be planning to sell their prestigious Recon complex to try to balance the books. Just shows what can happen when you gamble and it doesn't pay off. They've brought it upon themselves really.

Problem with clubs with money is, they always seem to find a way to buy their way out of it. I'd not feel too sorry for them quite yet.

Villa will end up in the greed league sooner rather than later . They’re a huge club and I doubt their fans give a toss about spending their way back either .
