    Was at the match, if that is the standard of football played at the pointy end of league one we'll look like Barcelona next season. Very poor turn out by both sides, only 26,000 there.

    I hope everyone's right about the standard of the division. It occurred to me yesterday that in 44 years of support, I've never seen Barnsley either bounce straight back after relegation or go up as champions. It would be nice to tick off something else on the list of things I've seen them do.

    Fair play to them but honestly think they will be back down before the Christmas trimmings and finish with a new record low points total for the championship. They only took 14k which was an utter embarrassment and the lowest attendance ever for League one play off final. Their chairman Tony Stewart will be back on Radio sheffield over the summer telling the fans they have a similar budget to Wigan or probably the Blunts when in reality they will spend next to nothing...

    Choice of manager is key. We need 3/4 decent signings and a decent manager & we should be capable.

    It wasn't 'Warneiola' twelve months ago. Then it was "Paul Warne has been appointed because he's a "Yes Man" to Tony Stewart." " He's not even a coach, he's a fitness trainer". "With Warne in charge, we're going to struggle to avoid a second relegation". And so on and so forth.
    The things some folk say and then forget when their comments become inconvenient.:D
