Enjoy the new hand dryers and blurred tvs east stand upper. I never realised there were three Jeff stellings.
Its pretty decent considering though why the spin "This is an increase of over 2,000 tickets on the equivalent date from the Club’s promotion campaign of 15/16. " what is the decrease on last Season I would also be interested in that
I think this is a great response by the Fans. It doesn`t really matter what the decrease on last season is at the present time - lets see where we are leading up to the start of the season when those that are continuing to buy (including those who want to move seats) have committed themselves. FR - I don`t really see you as one who generally knocks the Club for their efforts but I don`t see the relevance of comparing last season with this - again I think it`s a tremendous response from the Fans.
No Manager. No transfer activity. A pretty poor past 18 months on the pitch. I think this is a great start to our League One campaign.
It is a very decent figure. I hope that the club backs up the support by appointing a decent manager. I can't really blame them for Morais, as Hecky dropped them in it, but plenty of time has elapsed now to find the right candidate, If we have a season like the last one we'll be down to 5000 season tickets this time next year. Not saying we will, but now is the time for the board to get to work.
Down about 2K on last season I think. I know two who are not renewing, both because they don’t watch much more than 50% of the matches per season. They will no doubt watch even less in the third division.
Simply comparing with the last time we were at this level. I think (taking into account the poor results this past 18 months, relegation and no Head Coach appointed yet) the figures are impressive.
Didnt we used to have a few thousand of the free kids ones given away as well? In money terms we will be well above the sales figures last time around at this level. So in fairness what the board have done has paid off, full credit to them. A lot of work off the field has gone into their "not just a game" campaign and its better than anything we've seen previously.
Awesome fellas and gals. I cant get 1 as i have to look after littlw one on a sat and work in evening but its a tremendous effort
Yeah, this could be a case of good old number fudging. Is it that we're at the same number of tickets acquired, but this time it's just that we had to pay for 2k kids so they're 'sold' instead? Perhaps club just trying to create some hype and maybe sell a couple more?
Would have been really nice if the billionaire owners had rewarded the loyalty of the fans with reduced prices for a lower standard of football though...
Doubt it, there's no way of putting a negative spin on it, last time at this level we sold 7,500 ST tickets including the child ones. We've passed that already after scrapping the free ticket. Folk moaned but they have got it spot on, people were just taking the free ticket and not using it so if anything the previous figures weren't a true reflection.
