if the board have any gumption at all, they have got to persuade mick to come home. offer him enough, that he can't refuse, plus some spending power and I believe they would double season ticket sales

Not so sure about doubling ticket sales but certainly think we would shift a few more

    Totally agree.

Given their collective wealth they should make Mick an offer he can’t refuse.

It would show their intent and commitment after an indifferent start and be a massive boost ahead of the new season.

If they give him a few quid to spend in good time as well we’d be in dream land.

All of it totally achievable if the will is there.

If he still says no then at least we’ve tried.

It would definitely boost season ticket sales. I'd say another couple of thousand rather than another eight thousand...that just isn't realistic.
No doubt the style of his football would start to draw criticism as soon as we hit a bad patch. I'd be happy with him but it just isn't going to happen I'm afraid.

You might want to have a look at the management structure at Barcelona MrB.

Of all the managers who were available from day one Mick would be only acceptable appointment in my view. It would be a farce if we ended up with McCann or Grayson after all this waiting around.

Grayson would piss this league with the right side, arguably us.

I for one would want a refund. No way I can spend a season watching the tripe he serves up.

I don’t disagree with that view at all but we could have appointed him 3 or 4 weeks ago. To set him on now would only underscore what a organisational mess we seem to be in

How do you know we could ? , at the end of the day Mick will decide when he returns to work , even if we were fortunate to set him on next week it does not mean to say we could have done it a month since does it

If I was Mick and I read these forums i’d run a mile with all the negativity towards the owners

I was referring to Grayson not Mick Red. Mick’s always indicated that he wants a championship club

You get one point for Swiss roll, but bacon, served on a TEACAKE, is a sarnie or a buttie, but never a roll...or bap, balm and, God forbid, cob!!!!
You could also have had, sausage roll, Arctic roll (bonus point for specifying Jack Fulton's) and half a point for cheese roll(ing).

Reckon I've wasted a good portion of my life explaining to people that a teacake doesnt have fruit in it. And i live in Sheffield. Cant imagine the hardship endured by others who have moved further afield.
