Well wether you like it or not tonight's result was wonderful and tbh has made my day totally. Well made up for Lost Voice Guy..... A total feel good moment.
They were really good.... But for me it felt kinda like cheating. Also I think the nation has had enough of street dance groups.... Kinda done to death now. But I liked all the finalists..... But was always wanting this outcome...... Our lass was weeping like a child have to confess so was I.
Yeah, they were good. But it was a bit like cheating. In the semi final VT they were sat in a dance hall and Banjo was saying to them it's all about you and nothing to do with Diversity. Errr... you have Diversity in your name, you have been coached by Diversity and you have 2 perrie lookalikes with the same signature roll!
********. It wasn't about talent. Just the sympathy vote. I have nothing against the guy - good luck to him - he has been dealt a hard hand in life, but he just wasn't funny. Isn't that the test of a comedian? The programme is manipulative (look it up) exploitative (ditto) *****. No need to look that up. The dancers were also rubbish. The British public - I despair. Good job there wasn't a performing gerbil this year, who had lost its mother recently and had mental health issues.
Good luck to the lad who won , however I thought the whole show was a complete bag of tripe apart from the two Vietnamise lads who to be honest should not be allowed to enter ,if the concept of the show is to showcase British talent .
I don’t watch it but the missus showed me Lost Voice Guy and he was terrific. Had me in belly laughing big time.
Haven't watched it at all so I can't comment, but what I will say us humour is subjective. Just because you don't find something funny doesn't mean other won't. The office and the Royle family for example are considered funny by many, but I have watched both and barley managed so much as a giggle. Doesn't mean they aren't funny, just not funny to me.
Don't watch anything featuring Cowell, Holden and Ant and Dec. Pinching money the lot of 'em. Watched the last part of the Jeremy Thorpe "cover up. " Amazing what lengths the establishment go to, to protect their "own". Blatantly obvious he was guilty but he got away with it.
Well said. The final two were all about the symapathy vote. When you can balance someone upside on the top of your head, you should probably win. But then I liked the man who in his audition did a jazz version of Seven Nation Army and in his semi final a jazz version of No Diggity and he didn't even reach the final. To take a popular rock song and RNB song and totally change them and for it to work well was ballsy.
This is what happens when you let the public decide things. In Dancing On Ice they voted for contestants because they were in Coronation Street, rather than who could actually skate.
When judging the acts I ask would you pay to go see them? Now ask yourself who was the last act from BGT who you would consider parting money to go and see
