fixtures not out, transfers not begun, season not started. We at least have a bloke in place with a good amount of time for him to assess and get to know his present players. He has a good amount to assess what areas we need to address and strengthen. So FFS give the bloke a chance. But then again that's just not the Barnsley way is it.

I think the vast majority of our fans WILL give the bloke a chance, Baz, old mate. No appointment was going to be met with universal approval, not a one. For some, their disappointment will disappear if the team starts getting results and performances. Others appear to have washed their hands of the club. It is what it is.
That is the beauty of the BBS. It allows opinions to be expressed (within the remit of Site Admin), challenged and counter challenged. That's what debates are all about. It even allows gormless buggers to claim we won't sign Steve McPhail, there was no sell on clause with John Stones and Patrick Cryne wasn't going to sell the club!:D
If people aren't happy with this appointment, then they should be allowed to express those views. It doesn't mean they're right, or wrong. It doesn't mean they're all-knowing, all-seeing oracles. Neither does it mean they're not 'real' fans.
For what it's worth, I find the unknown aspect of this appointment exciting & interesting and can't wait for him to get started. If others hold the polar opposite view, so be it. I won't influence them about their take on this situation, and they won't influence me. But I won't be disrespectful towards them, simply for holding a different opinion to mine.
    Live and let live.:)

I'm more optimistic about this appointment than i was over Morais. Difference is they have had more time for this one.
I see no reason to be negative about it TBH.

I've been looking for a good excuse to wear the lederhosen I stole from a Hamburg brothel in 1986.
Only problem is waist size is too small now.

English sausage is nice but german sausage is wurst. just had a feeling all along we'd go European and I thought it would be wolfe but this guy SEEMS to tick all the box's. now we have new owners with their choice of coach who will now have his choice of players ( not stuck with someone elses players)
