From what I've read it looks like Mr. 2+2%=5 is having financial difficulty through Chinese government and they put all eggs in 1 basket trying to get back to Premier league
Doesn’t affect us - football debts have to be settled first if the went into admin (for which i don’t agree with and is against HMRC’s wishes too). I very much doubt they will - they’re just seeking to delay the payments by the looks of it - most companies try it on.
Might affect us indirectly. If they have a fire sale on players they aren't going to get market value which means less for us on any sell on clause for Connor.
Terry did right leaving. Less parachute payments, an handful of loanees gone back, some guys out of contract and others will be wanted by premiership clubs. Big summer ahead for Bruce to show his metal. Lots of turmoil but he will still be expected to get promoted next season.
This is fake news: Aston Villa were promoted back to the premiership because they spent **** loads of money. Nobody could have possibly competed with them.
Maybe. But in reality it ain’t going to happen. These winding up petitions happen daily - the majority don’t go very far.
They've suspended their CEO Keith Wyness, but say the reason for that, is not connected to the unpaid tax bill, which they say, will be paid in full within the next 48 hours.
Haha Mr quit more jobs than a Maccy trainee? First whif of an end to endless cash and that useless get will be running for the hills.
Yet another club signing players they could not afford to the detriment of their competitors . If true ffp needs a re think .
Here is a good article...... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...le-report-reveals-99-revenue-spent-wages.html Three of the four biggest loss clubs got promoted to the premiership so overspending is paying off and sides who are run properly like us suffer from relegation.
It is really ruining football and creating an even more uneven playing field. If the FA care about football in this country at all then the first thing they will do is make the penalty for breaching FFP an automatic 20 point penalty whichever league you are in at the time. Also it should result in any team being promoted not being paid parachute payments when they are relegated. Also money in football needs to be more evenly distributed. And putting in place salary caps dependent on clubs turnover in the premier league should mean clubs being promoted need to be prudent and think longer term. Parachute payments are the biggest joke in the whole game. Designed to allow clubs to yo-yo back and forth between championship and L1. A small payment to cover operating costs so the club don’t have to make wide scale redundancies is understandable, £100m for 3 seasons or whatever it is just strikes of encouraging overspending.
Spending money doesn’t guarantee anything but not spending definitely guarantees you won’t get anywhere . It’s an unfair playing field but hopefully the new owners will do their thing when it’s needed !
Lets go and make a sneaky bid for Gary Gardner, one that Villa simply can't refuse. Lets sell it to him that he will be getting regular first team action here, in a possible promotion winning squad.
