With the new owners recent **** up in the managerial employment stakes is there any wonder folk have commented on how underwhelmed and disappointed they are with the new appointment. . The club in my opinion once again fail to grasp the opportunity to make a statement of intent and at the same time rally and unite the support... I personally understand why many have reacted in a way that shows their frustrations and how their feelings for the club waver. Its obvious to a man on a galloping horse that the owners are so far away from the heart that is or was barnsley football club... that their silence and and dare i say vision for the way forward differ massively from the fan base.this latest managerial employment doesn't inspire me one iota to be honest... to me it spells disaster and a huge if not massive risk.. a ball hasn't been kicked in anger yet and I for one feel that this season not only are we back in the pub league we have just been presented with a coach who in realistic terms just like the owners doesnt know the road in front of them...
Before anyone screams but James cryne.. lol he was part of the problem we had before in my opinion
A word on the O/P ...I guess if it fits
The agenda you can blame all the animosity on here to him being German for the indifference shown too However If you open your eyes you might face the direction of the bullSh1t you have spouted... 're britx and foreign ..the guy could have been any nationality colour or creed and folk would..be kicking off ..its due to his credentials .in all honesty in the cold light of the day the appointment is so uninspiring and lack luster it's not going to increase season ticket sales...any time soon it certainly doesn't inspire you with confidence surely ...it certainly doesnt me I can tell you that for nothing that said it's now a case of waiting and watching...like the old saying
We will have to wait and see..

That's me done on here for a while guys ...unfortunately .... time to move on ...I hope I'm wrong and the New guy proves me wrong....
Good luck with the board guys had many a laugh down the years catch you later shed 131... or should that read Gob ***** united .....now lol after my recent managerial prediction date lol...see yer.... all the best..bry.

    Eh?

    I’ll try to decipher.

At no point have I blamed all the animosity on here to him being German.

There are clearly issues with some based solely on the fact they deem him to lack the requisite experience.

The point made, and acknowledged by some in legible English, is that there appears to me to be some supporters taking exception to his appointment purely due to him not being English. I stand by that. I think there are, and a lot of them hide behind the ‘credentials’ argument. Some of the people taking exception would have been quite happy to take on Bobby Hassell, or a Frank Lampard type appointment, Paul Scholes maybe. Mentioned those names.

None of those have any of the ‘credentials’ apparently required. Nor the experience of managing in the German league and years of coaching prior.

Those who insisted on big mick - even though it was never going to happen, or someone like Grayson, bowyer etc, I can see why you’d be disappointed, but not to the point of flouncing off withdrawing support.

Not all of the detractors are in that camp though are they?

So no, you might not agree with it, you might not want to admit it, but it’s not ********.

When DeXEU are producing reports where the country runs out of food and medicines within a fortnight of a no-deal exit (and that isn't even the *worst* case), then I think you might want to be careful what you wish for.[/QUOTE]

You don't genuinely believe that surely?...it comes from the same school of Project Fear that allowed George Osborne to warn us the country could lose 820,000 jobs within two years of voting out...complete bull***t.

You are only guessing about his wages & there is no evidence to support that , also regarding his work situation , if you read up about him , he has spent recent time at Arsenal & another top club taking advanced coaching which will supplement his previous 10 years coaching experience so he has not been sat waiting for the phone to ring . You have obviously made your mind up where as I prefer to keep an open mind & at least give him some time before I judge him
