In the main one I got Croatia.

We have also done a backwards one at work too where the worst team wins money not the best team and in that I got Peru.

I think winners will be Brazil or France

I had 2 turns at our sweepstake and got the mighty Iran and Russia. The hosts sometimes do well but I can’t see Russia doing anything.

As for my prediction, I’d go for Brazil or Germany (they’ve got good coaches right?)

France have a good squad but usually bottle it. Belgium have a very good squad on paper but haven’t really ever shown too much.

I was going to enter the one at work until the girl who’s organising it said ‘there’s still some good teams left in it even though quite a few people have swapped who they got because they didn’t like their pick’

Isn’t this defeating the object of a sweepstake??

Haven’t done a sweepstake yet but I drew Sweden in the draw to see which country my team would represent in the World Cup stuff work are doing.

Probably means I’ll have to go and buy some food from ikea

No sweepstake as there is no interest where i work.
Think world football is currently average at best so i guess it's a pot luck world cup.
Hoping to see a couple of unfancied teams in the semis.
    MEXICO for a quid.

Hard to see past Germany as winners, though Belgium could finally come good.

    Surprise package - Egypt

I've got Belgium in the sweepstake at work. I have a feeling that Brazil will win it.

The sweepstake at our place has a prize for the winner, runner up, third place and a wooden spoon prize so I reckon I have a chance of winning one of the top three prizes.

I just drew Egypt in our sweep.

I think Spain will win the tournament.
