What has Muslims got to do with leaving the EU?

“et’s put it another way. How many people who hate ‘Muslims’ or foreigners and immigration voted remain if that is their mindset?[“???? We don’t know!!!! We can assume, but we don’t know. Probably lots, but you said All of them had, like you had each racist on a speed dial poll. Was it because you are racist and all your racist friends told you? So from your sample size, both said they did?

Strange, that's a photo of Mark Riley who plays with a band who gig regularly on the Isle of Man, playing the sort of music that goes down a storm TT Week and strangely enough they were playing at Jaks tonight.

So we are making some progress. We have moved from outright denial to “ probably lots”. Well done. Anyhoo I have dipped my feet in the murky waters of someone who doesn’t know if Hitlers supporters were racist for one night.

Just as you don’t know that every member of the Klu Klux Klan is a racist. It is perfectly possible that someone had just walked to the corner shop slipped on a giraffe and fell into some robes. It’s just exceedingly unlikely. Just as it’s exceedingly unlikely that many card carrying members of the BNP thought I know what will further my agenda is voting to remain in the EU. It is not Impossible but on the balance of probabilities common sense would tell us they didn’t.

    Night.

Have you even read anything I put?

No because you’re not interested in anyone else’s opinion. I realise now that you are a troll. Who when realised had no real relevant real evidence, resort to making things up. And trying to call people vile things to cover up your crap.

All of the stuff that you have put is not true, I’m not sure what crack pipe you’ve been sucking on. But you are delusional.

I think it's perceived as such but may be exaggerated . In my day job I come into contact with quite a few EU emigrants, the vast bulk are Polish, I was dealing with a young Polish lady who in the course of our conversation mentioned racist anti Polish abuse after the EU referendum...I was outraged that this could be happening in our town, after further conversation, she said hadn't suffered it personally but had read it on Facebook.
To combat such disgraceful behaviour I wrote a letter to every Pole in our town...around 250 adults...in the Polish language, offering them our full support in involving SYP if necessary to sort the problem out, our local Police Inspector is married to a Polish girl so I would imagine he would be keen to assist.
Thankfully we only got two replies, both saying they had not encountered any problems.
I accept that 250 in a town population of 15,000 is not a great representative sample but I genuinely think ( and hope) the problem has been exaggerated.
If I remember correctly our area was around 70% out.

No.....to be fair ....whilst Jimmy and I may disagree on this issue....his posts are usually fair and balanced , and in my view is not a troll. Unfortunately the debate has deteriorated due to some other posters perhaps putting things in black and white that with a little extra thought they wouldn't have written...and things have gone a bit pear shaped.

So where exactly would you suggest the most advanced society in Europe is?...and what specific reasons make it more advanced?

Jimmy, to be fair, you said it had to be a super majority as though it was fact...now the argument is "custom and practice"....in reality, custom and practice in regards to the EU is to move the goalposts if the wrong result is given, as per the Irish people's rejection of the Lisbon Treaty in 2008, that was 54-46...they were made to vote again and yet France voted by 51-49 to accept the Maastricht treaty and that was considered acceptable...in 2005 France and Denmark voted against the EU Constitution ...everyone else's referenda including ours were immediately cancelled to save EU embarrassment, it was then repackaged to suggest referendums weren't necessary, saving Blair and Major a headache, the EU learnt then that referendums were their enemy...you won't see many more in our lifetimes whether a super majority is needed or not, there is no such thing as custom and practice as far as I can determine .

Its no longer 1973. The world is a vastly dofferent place and anyone over 45 (including me) is being left behind by the pace of change.

The young of the UK have more in common with the young of France, Germany and Estonia than the older British people.

Bit confused by your post - the link goes to an article explaining why leaving the EU without a deal is so bad its unthinkable - I don't think many Ardent remainers would argue with that.
It is interesting that a leave organisation is showing a much greater grasp of reality than some in the government seem to be doing though

Strange how a certain person on here was arguing that the Leave campaign was 100% on leaving the single market and customs union...
