If you know a Leeds fan, remind them that they’ve now been outside the Premier League for as long as they were in it.

I hate seeing us/England play in red though when we're at home. Its as ridiculous as us playing in our away kit at Oakwell.
Cracking goal by Rashford by the way, they are making a decent atmosphere of it.

Was I hearing things, or was there a very audible chant of 'we all hate Leeds scum' in the first half? I do hope that was the case.

Yes there was, followed by a rendition of 'All Leeds aren't we'... both amusing in my eyes. The Man Utd players seemed to attract a bit of stick, but overall I really enjoyed seeing England at a proper football ground with two ends singing and getting behind them. Wembley is now so sterile and 'event-orientated' it seems no real football atmosphere is created. I'm a big fan of England touring, especially for friendlies.

For those of us fans who do support the England team, wouldn't we like to see more of their matches up here in the north.

But its our away kit and we were the hosts at Wembley in '66. Whats the point in having home and away kits when they aren't used sensibly.

I thought there was a good atmosphere there, particularly for a friendly. Sure beats the atmosphere at Wembley.

I thought the atmosphere was fantastic and shows if they played england games around the uk rather than soulless Wembley the team would benefit.

Wembley is a fantastic stadium for major games not fukin Nigeria

I went along last night. First time I've watched England since the mid 80s and I thought it was a decent occasion.

Sat in the corner of the kop I had a great view of everything and would imagine that if a competitive game had been held there the atmosphere would be fantastic.

It was the Leeds fans around us that were singing it tho.

They’re literally the worst Leeds fans too, I had a few behind me that spent the full 90 minutes talking loudly about Leeds United and how they hated every Man Utd player that played last night, The ones around me didn’t even celebrate the rashford goal and i heard one say “I’d never celebrate a scum player scoring”. I’m guessing If the lad scored the winner in a World Cup final it’d be a different story

P.s they spent a good 10 minutes slating hecky too which put a smile on my face.
