SO, you're saying Cameron didn't have a clue what he was saying. Correct, he didn't. The referendum was deeply flawed. It wasn't stated if the result was legally binding. It was an incredibly open question with a simple yes no answer when actually there are many permutations. Cameron **** himself and resigned because he knew that the result left us in a whole world of crazy and he didn't want to try and steer us through it as it was a poisoned chalice.
I think they mean the Commissioners who are elected by the heads of state, rather than us proles. A bit like our Lords and judges, who they seem to object to when they stop their "wilder aspirations" (or crazy fantasies). It can't be the MEPs that represent the UK, because who in their right mind who elect Farage?
No that’s not what I said if you read it and because you lot lost your trying to DEEPLY change the goalposts to try and alter a Democratic decision, really , stop it ya daft bugger
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...t-bet-at-time-of-brexit-fallout-idUSKCN0ZE20O Too right he s wanting to go long on the pound , while simultaneously shorting Euro banks . Of course Deutsche Bank is a whole different kettle of fish , with 44 trillion euros worth of derivatives sat on their books . If that goes south , and I'm guessing it will the pound would be the ideal destination for his I'll gotten gains .
There is no parliamentary majority for a hard brexit, fortunately. Nor will it allow a 'no deal' exit.
In the IoM, you are a British Subject not a UK citizen. From wikipedia: Because the Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom, its passports do not carry the words United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the front cover and on the biodata page. In their place, they have the words British Islands: Isle of Man.
That is correct on the passport as I stated at the beginning of the thread , but if you have been a British citizen within 15 years you were allowed a vote in the referendum I know this because I have a passport and applied for a vote, I have a black toothbrush and size eleven feet , what is your point
The important consequences of Brexit - who needs James O'Brien to explain it when all you need is here
Cameron knew exactly what he was doing He was under extreme pressure from t the right of his party and it was hits attempt to shut them up. He got it wrong as they extremists win and the north lost
Well Europe is a loser but I was thinking more of the South, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the West country
The phrase "Brexit is Brexit" has to be the most meaningless political statement of the last 10 years & there is plenty out there. If I were to say "my arse is my arse", you'd probably think I was mad, but I've had my arse for 53 years. Admittedly it is larger and more hairy than in it's early days, but largely it still does the same stuff. I sit on it, **** out of it & occasionally wipe it. As no one on either side of the political fence can agree on what to do I'd like to propose we discuss my arse instead.
Not seen yours but mine is well worth lengthy discussion if only for the volume and frequency of fart it generates.
Has your arse ever caused so much heated debate though? Excluding that massive flutterblaster you released in ‘84...
84 was a bit of a shitstorm from start to finish. Working in Yorkshire Bank during the miners strike, my arse was rarely off it's stool at Till 1 at the New Street Branch.
