Giddings has probably read the same Yorkshire Post article that I saw. In it Daniel admits the guys already "on the ground" are an integral part of him understanding the calibre of players already at the Club and that he's had discussions with Sir Bobby and intends to involve him more going forward. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...boss-stendel-to-use-local-knowledge-1-9200032
Morning snowflakes... If you only want to read and believe .. The party Line.. then don't read any further, remember your blood pressure.. up to you. Question... Where are the interviews..? Not seen any on film or audio. As Jay said, so it looks like there a'int any. What it seems actually you have is just the clubs media team drip feeding what they think the fans want to hear via fembot... Evidence please.. Nowt fancy, just post it.. As for the Bobby Hassell news.... Would be the first step forward .. in my view.. after the backward steps over last 6 months the club has made to promote Bobby.. Just hope that he will always trump the New head coach and his staff.. not interfere, but be above, so after a few weeks/months when the Germans are up to "speed" with what they have, they don't have the power to drop Bobby..
If Harsley has gone, there is a job going there for a start. I don't know enough about what Bobby has been doing as such since he joined the Academy. I know his title is head of the Academy, but I've no idea how much coaching he does. I think we'd all welcome him being given any opportunity that may arise in the coaching pyramid.
His job was over seeing the academy.. correct me if I'm wrong.. If he's got a promotion, then it must be above the academy, so first team right... Kinda thinking/hoping a bit of a Director of football role.. If he's above the new coaches and not , until the said New coaches say.. "right we don't need you any more, you may go back to your old jb now"... Then sound.Thing seem a bit adhoc and unclear,,
For me a director of football should be an older head with more experience in the game than Bobby. Perhaps a former coach/manager looking to get away from the training ground side of things and oversee things a bit more That's not Hassell in my eyes
I'd be happy with Hassell being part of the first team coaching setup. See how he gets on and go from there.
Firstly, if Stendel doesn’t speak great English, they’ll need time to translate answers and questions - hence why we are only getting written updates and no videos etc. Think that’s obvious - give him a couple of month and he’ll be ok with English. Bobby Hassell wants what’s best for Barnsley. So that’s a Good start. I’ve no idea how good a coach he is though - although I suspect he’ll be ok. I’ve not heard anything to suggest he is crap, but I’ve also not heard anything to suggest he’s excellent. To have him involved is a good thing - but don’t over or under estimate it.
The board need to buy Bobby an English-German dictionary first. Good move, though, by the new coaching staff.
Yes as 1st team coach, but has been doing a consultancy role going round Europe looking at other clubs and their training setup
Seen this on Twitter, could be salty from the poster but doesn't seem encouraging. Read the thread below the initial tweet
Martin devaney was brought in as Heckingbottoms development assistant before Bobby hassell was even employed by bfc which just highlights how much ******** is spouted by this 'fan'
