He was probably looking for the hidden camera.

I would really love to know who they are though.

I can understand Moore, Jackson and pinnock along with hammill but the rest of them no chance. UNLESS what he means is that they were telling him their longterm ambition

    Moore? Hammill?

Only ones I could think of were Yids, Bradshaw and Lindsay (completly unjustified but his agent seems to be touting him about).

Was reading on Twitter earlier that only 1 Sunderland player wants to stay with them in League One next year. Footballers don’t half have some cheek!!

Bradshaw was totally ineffective for us despite being a hardworker. Hammill proved he's still got it by creating the most chances for us and despite having an appalling showing in front of goal keiffer Moore has proved himself a good goalscorer for Rotherham and for us he held the ball up really well it was just his finishing that let him down (putting it nicely)

Personally thought Bradshaws goals record was commendable considering what service he was provided and the effort he put in as a lone striker.

I reckon Jack Rodwell is confident of getting a £100k a week contract somewhere.

as far as I am concerned they should be let go.... get as much as possible for them. But if that's their attitude then they will be less than useless to us. When a player does not want to be where he is its time to let go. We want players who want to be at Barnsley and who want to play for us with a passion... we do not need self centered Prima donna's. Let them bugger off and ASAP and replace them with players who will fight for their place and the team.

Completely agree they should get their heads down, work hard, improve and get us promoted again. If some of them think they are good enough for the championship after last season then they are deluded. They are also under contract so they should be asking nicely as it works 2 ways and we've been **** on enough with expiring contracts.

Stick them in the u23s until they have a better attitide, I can't do with that thinking they should be rewarded for anything after failure, they should remember that they threw away staying up last season as there were enough winnable points to stay up easily with Jose in charge or not.

Some Sunderland players want their contracts paying up and allowed to leave for free.

    Modern football eh.

I don’t want to say something against the grain or be controversial - but IMO they were all Championship players.
Any of them could have got into Chris Wilders team and would have been a success - including George Moncur who he tried to sign.

If the players wanted to be Championship footballers, they had the chance to secure it last season and failed. Good riddance to any who feel they have a right to play at that level. Good luck to them finding a club that agrees.

I think it would do the squad some good to shed some weight anyway if we can. There's really only Pinnock, Moore, Bradshaw, Hedges and Isgrove I'd be disappointed to see leave, plus Mallan as I reckon we owe him a chance.

Circa a dozen goals last season clearly indicate he was far from ineffective

I reckon Bradshaw is probably one. Give him decent service and he’ll score. Make a decent squad player for someone.

I reckon Moore is another. He’s a handful for defenders.

I think Lindsay could possibly be one. Others will argue with that as he seems to split opinion on here more than most players. Not sure he’d be asking to leave though.

Not sure if Fryers, Cavare or Pinillos will fancy league 1 so we could see a new squad of full backs I suppose.

All proved they could make valuable contributions

Lets remember had it not been for done atrocious refereeing we would have comfortably stayed up even with the deck chair attendant in charge
