BBC slick and professional ITV cheap and tacky
ITV should stick to soaps and talent contests

    Agreed, ITV’s coverage is amateur.

Yet people complain about the licence fee.

BBC is light years ahead of itv.

Itv has always been wheel tappers and shunters
Made even worse with stupid repeat adverts

Adverts do my nut in, especially when watching a film.

I agree about the coverage too, the BBC is better.

UHD picture as said was superb ,detail outstanding
i saw the bbc post about only allowing xx amount as are just testing 4K picture live streaming.
i was out and only tuned in at halftime.
didn't have any problems just went to Iplayer site ,clicked on game and it came on .
didn't seem to be procedure or slots to wait for
don't even have to log into iplayer.
i have fibre broadband ,it buffered a couple of times for a few seconds.
that was using WiFi to T.V ,not cabled straight in which would be optimal way of doing it for best results
presume they will be monitoring and adjusting accordly to more numbers watching and peoples feedback to make any improvements

Personally I find BBC's football coverage to be poor on the whole. Gary Linekar grates, especially now I know how much he gets paid. Then the plethora of dull, pointless ex-pros. Jermaine Jenas. Danny Murphy. Chris Sutton. I didn't give a **** about them when they played for England and I care even less now. Oh, and of course, they've got an ex-player from the women's game. The level they play at they might as well have got the skipper of our U18s, so they can't even pretend she's there because she's got experience at the top level. They're better than Dixon and Wright, but that's damning with the faintest of praise.

Ok it might be sexist, but Im also peed off at them doing wimmin presenters & commentators & pundits now on Itv/Bbc. What is the point in this, are they trying prove a point here or what ?.

I like Gabby Yorath as a presenter, and I don't mind her presenting footy and other sports shows like she's always done.
Jackie Oatley is also good as a presenter for both Itv & Bbc. But for me I don't like them and these other unknown birds acting as pundits and commentators.

The women have their own game etc, but why do they feel the need to get involved in the mens game ?.

Brian Clough does a great interview with John Motson years ago about match of the day suggesting they show more football action and less of the talking/punditry.

It looks like someone's still upset that his wife left him because he spends his life on the internet.
