The new owners had taken over when you withdrew your support & stopped attending , therefore the facts have not changed , so will you be returning or not ? . My support for the reds is unconditional
So I think most people will agree that he’s saying he wants good players. He’s Just putting his own spin or jargon on it As only a player who has reached a certain standard would be able to play this way That’s good as so do we Problem one is good players want good pay Problem two is good players don’t want to play in the third tier Problem three is young up and coming players or players who look like they have potential that potential is very rarely relized and if it is they soon want that good money or to play at a higher standard or league Problem four why do these players he talks of ,want or are willing to come and drop down to play in the English 3rd tier I take it they are not wanted at there club why aren’t other teams In the German leagues system interested in them and are snapping them up Maybe there’s a surplus of good players over there , that must be it.
If that’s true, then why was it me - AND ONLY ME - that was there at the new owners press conference to welcome Chien Lee. And you are straying off topic. Please try to concentrate.
Am I the only person on here who knows people that have stopped going to Oakwell - or don’t go on a regular basis because of the clubs revolving door strategy over the last 10 years ???
No, but the new fans probably outnumber them. I made a comment at my 5 year olds football about the amount of kids in Barnsley kits, 20 years ago they were all Leeds and Wednesday.
I have asked you a genuine question about whether you will be returning to Oakwell after your exile , the point being very relevant as you highlight fans drifting away , are you one of them ? Try to concentrate please when answering , thankyou
No I’m not - thats why I didn’t get an invite. But I did get into the foyer and shake Chien Lee hand and welcomed him to the club. I went knowing how significantly important that press conference was for Barnsley Football Club. Basically because at long long last we now have left behind the revolving door player recruitment. Which Ganaye is talking about in this weeks Chronicle.
I can assure you that I was expecting more Barnsley fans to be there - like there is when a new manager is appointed. But to my knowledge I was the only one there. Anyway - we are again straying from the initial post - and that’s Ganayes comments in the Chronicle. Which IMO are massively important to the future of Barnsley Football Club. Exciting times ahead !!!
I fully understand that many posters on here take my comments seriously - and as such it provokes thought and discussion. But to dig one of my initial posts out from over a year ago is indeed a compliment.
