Generally all pundits are annoying in some way, but at least on BBC there are no ads. But Phil Neville's commentator voice...**** me. Exaggerating every other word for dramatic effect. Had to turn him off.

Can you still change to the 5 live commentary feed? I Will be doing so in future, Phil Neville is a assault on my ears I do not wish to repeat.

Anything has to better than Neville and Pearce.

I suppose the BBC can devote so much more of their output to the football seeing as they don't have advertisers to answer to, they don't really seem to be accountable to anyone. No ad breaks is always a plus, but is that necessarily better than listening to Shearer drone on?

And the BBC's complete lack of rights for any first rate sports must mean their production teams are like a coiled spring when it comes to actually delivering something that a majority of the population want to watch.

Really enjoyed listening to Ferdinand and Lampard talking about their World Cup squads

Definitely, was quite refreshing to hear an honest account as opposed to just the usual punditry crap.

Thought they both spoke very well. No excuses for how they performed and lifted the veil back somewhat on what I think most people suspected (club cliques)

Hope they both go into punditry, they’re a hell of a lot better than either Neville/Redknapp/Jeans/Murphy etc.

heaven forbid a woman should be interested in football and have an opinion. the lady on the BBC is a journalist and Aluko a lawyer - so both educated as well as being former players.
