Oh come on we should have had another 2 after they equalised. And that’s excluding the pen we didn’t get on Kane. I’m worried because Tunisia haven’t created a clear chance and scored from a pen we should never be conceding. It’s a big worry we haven’t buried the game

Some great football. A system that I'm completely unfamiliar with that's got me as baffled as Tunisia are. I've no idea how you're supposed to counter how we've set up. Then some really poor finishing and really bad defending. Every problem we've encountered we've created ourselves.

Funny you say that because watching us miss so many good chances made me think of him. No complaints for the penalty but we should have had one for the Kane rugby tackle. Keep playing like we have been and I'm sure we will start to take our chances.

The more I see that Kane rugby tackle the more confused I am. I thought one of the points was that the control team can alert the ref to look at an incident he has missed, to avoid this sort of thing going unpunished. How is that missed?

I don't think they missed it. They alerted the referee to it. The ref decided not to review it.

IMHO VAR doesn't eliminate controversy, it adds more.

Kane was wrestled to the ground, but no-one has mentioned Stones giving one of their defenders an almighty shove in the same incident.

Surely if the team watching the VAR monitors alert the ref to the fact he missed something, it must be encumbent on the ref to at least have a look to confirm if he was right or not. Otherwise, whats the point if the ref can just tell them to **** off?

It doesn’t solve the age old problem - corrupt refs.

You can’t tell me this ref hasn’t had some extra pocket money from the hosts.

Edit: doesn’t stop England looking like school boys in defense and awful up front bar kane.

Think we are playing well over all, bit embarrassing from the commentators making excuses for the sitters missed though.
Bit that really baffled me was they go out of their way to keep Kane fit, then as soon as he scores every other bugger piles on top of him!

Another rugby tackle on Kane. VAR is pointless if blatant penalties keep getting missed.

I am starting to get worried they will nick it.

I'd put Vardy on soon. Their high line suits his game.

Him, Lingard and Alli are totally utter dog.

Honestly would rather play Butland and Pope up front.
