Only in the resect that I haven't gone on record complaining about people making jokes about me, my nationality, Barnsley ,Yorkshire etc (can't say religion as I haven't one).
Nice blondie on the one at Morrisons, cracking view of her arse when she polishing your alloys. That's probably sexist an all....
It was a sad day when we stopped measuring racism by intent to do harm. There isn't anything nasty in that sort of joke.
I'll agree that the Oakwell car wash is the best in town. Whether the workers there are Polish or not I don't know. They are friendly and do a hard job for probably not much money. If you don't see that the jokes posted are racist and sexist then you probably think that people are being over sensitive and wouldn't mind people making fun of you as a thick fat lovely person from Kendray. Hang on, maybe you would mind...
Japanese fans on rampage after their win, tidied up all their rubbish and bagged it up, apparently they have form for doing it!
I think most people are capable of seeing the funny side of jokes at their expense. They don't need the protection of any fuzzy-minded liberals.
I've just discussed this with my Polish daughter-in-law. Her response was "Is this David_Upper_East from Russia. They have no sense of humour either".
Wrong humour is judged on its content not how much money one person as, but the likes of Sugar and Trump think diferantley and asume they can get away with it. I found Shenk's joke very humoured and in no way was it racist or degrading to anyone.
Tbh the OP’s joke and most Polish joke I’ve heard revolves around the Ooles being hard working and good at their jobs, it’s not exactly a slur is it? Btw what I put about the Japanese wasn’t a joke, they actually did it!
I really, REALLY wish people would stop conflating liberal with extremism. Liberal values are those of a balanced, fair open mind. A desire to meet the needs of the common good. Free speech etc. I'm liberal in politics and outlook. I'm not an extremist. Political correctness, in the hands of some has gone too far at times. There is a search for insult and injury in an effort to shut down opposing voices. That's not liberalism. I'm a firm believer that it's usually possible to detect the intent I things people say by the way they say it. That being said, if you make ambiguous remarks on the internet where the vast majority of your audience don't personally know you then you must take the consequences of some using your remarks for their own agenda. As for the Alan Sugar joke, I've no idea if he's racist. I don't know the bloke. If he's not he's an idiot for posting it online anyway and giving people the chance to portray him as one. Rant over.
