For every Manson and Hourihane theirs six or seven piles of ***** that just aren’t good enough, and you’d already know this if you’d take your head out off the sand and stop kidding yourself.

I don’t suppose you’d have the courage to crawl out from behind that keyboard and call one of those piles of ***** to their face.

The season after he was in charge of a club that should have been running away with that league. He failed. Jose Mark II.

    Exactly.
The club can’t do anything until the new manager gets started.
Expect quite a bit of activity when he does tho.

Didn't Wilson sign Hourihane and Winnall? Had little to do with the spreadsheet from what I remember and I think everyone who watches lower leagues knew about Mawson. It's hardly like we pulled him up from nowhere

Again, we won’t be signing many players. We’ve got a big squad with many young players on long contracts with a plan to improve them not cast them adrift after one season & make big losses.

It doesn’t matter how many threads are started we’ll not be signing many.

And didn’t Stendel only start working with his squad yesterday? Maybe he wants to have a look at them & have conversations with them about how they fit in

He lost 5 Games. That's hardly shocking, is it.

No. The head coach method was implemented before relegation (or at the very latest during the close season after relegation).

Saying that Wilson signed certain talented players is just comical changing of history to suit an agenda.

why worry Donny. The new guy starts a week tomorrow, players back in training on the Monday. 6 weeks till the opening game. Plenty of time yet. I would not at all be surprised if the new coach was already studying the team via videos. He will have an idea already as what he has to attend to.

Yeah we’re competing against clubs like Doncaster, Luton, Oxford, Portsmouth, and Peterbourgh, for signings this summer, and we still cant get our business done in time for the first day back in training, and this season we only need to sign 4or5 players, which is a saving grace, but still people think it’s excusable to be going into the most important part of the year without at least 50% of our transfer activity completed, it’s important to hit the ground running and get points on the board as soon as possible if you have aspirations of automatic promotion, to do so in my opinion squad organisation and preseason preparations and vitally important, but from what I’m seeing we’re going about it amateurishly yet again.

I couldn’t careless what other clubs do, I want the best for BFC. and anyone with half a brain will tell you the sooner you get your squad together the better chance you have of competing right from the off, for the first time in a long time we the majority of our squad together, all we need is a couple of wingers and a couple of combative central midfielders, and replacements for anyone we let go, we’ve genuinely got a fantastic chance of stealing a march on the other fancied teams, for the first time in as long as I can remember, and we’re dilly dallying and dragging our heels yet again in typical Barnsley fashion.
