Not impressed. Bootham Crescent is only 20 minute walk from my house. Might still go if England are out. Possibly last time we'll play there before the new stadium opens

Even if England are in the semis? Absolutely no way would I miss a world cup semi involving England for a poxy friendly game.

I’ve gone right off watching football on TV it’s a absolute disgrace, I’ve not seen 1 minute of this World Cup live, and I probably won’t right until the end, I’m just not into cheating, and referee mistakes, and now video ref mistakes, so sadly watching football on TV is no longer for me. It’s been getting gradually worse for years but now it’s got to the point were it’s all about did he cheat didn’t he cheat, is the ref ***** isn’t the ref *****, they show more replays of what used to be the ugly side of the game, than they do good passages of play, and goals. It’s not football anymore it’s ref watch and it’s not for me, I’ll stick to watching Barnsley live in the stadium, the rest of “football” is dead to me.

Av been watching it Ripp, but tha reight its going even further darn the pan with this VAR ****. Football aint a sport no more its a con mans paradise.

The only thing to impress me so far is the fans and their commitment to their countries, they dont deserve some of this ***** being served up.

Then you've missed out. Been the best world cup since Mexico 1986 for me. Some great attacking football and plenty of drama.

    What he says! ^^^^

the only difference between Wrestling and top level football is that wrestlers know who's going to win before they start (well, i'd hope that's not the case in football!).

Football is now sports entertainment, in the main, for the paying TV audience.

Had some memorable matches but some absolute stinkers too. Lowest average number of goals per game of any world cup iirc

Agreed. I really wasn't looking forward to it at all, but it's been fantastic to be fair.
