Former players help

    I am conducting research at the moment and I am trying to find out what certain players got up to after they retired from football. Some of these players played for Barnsley and I am wondering if anyone can help out with any details on these former players? They are;
    Bob Parker
    Mick Butler
    David Currie
    Gary Pierce

    Any help is appreciated.

    Mick Butler went back to his roots returning to be a Colliery Electrician (he was at Dodworth Colliery when he started playing). When the Barnsley pits closed he transferred to the Selby Coalfield which eventually went the way of all the others.

    I think I read in The League Paper about a year ago that Gary Pierce was living in Ainsworth, between Bury and Bolton. Retired, last worked as a delivery driver/courier or similar to that.
