    we are owned by a investment company who are there to make money therefore selling for profit is their priority .

    I like George class on his day but think he has something to prove to not only us but himself this year. Hopefully he can turn it out week in week out. Offering him a new deal now would be a little premature I think.

    Too reight. They're worth billions but they've spent £20m on BFC to make £10k profit on Matty Pearson.

    Well if he flops in league one with us it's sort of last chance saloon where does he go from there? That's why offering him a new deal now would be madness.

    We did but unfortunately I don't think he will be able to make a career or live of that one season. He needs to start turning it out week in week out if like to see him in the 10 role for us he had his best season for Colchester there we will so though.

    I heard we signed him because Patrick Cryne liked the look of him after he scored in our 2-2 draw with Colchester towards the end of the promotion season. Heard it a few times from different people, but that could be the same misinformation from different sources. The truth and lies travel just as far and just as fast.

    He scored 20 goals in 80 odd games for Colchester which is a decent return, but his team were relegated. That may be despite Moncur's best efforts, or it may be because the midfield was left wide open with him in it. I really don't know.

    Were owned by people worth billions , so you think they’re here to make the odd £500k ? Ha you must be having a bad dream or summat . They’re here to get a return on their investment but it won’t be by selling third division players for peanuts it makes no sense whatsoever !

    I doubt that was the case tbh, he scored 9 goals and 13 assists was it? In a relegated Colchester side he played the no 10 role for them I'm not sure you can blame him for leaving the midfield wide open while playing behind the striker or strikers. I think he was signed on the stats that he took set pieces scored goals and got assists. He hasn't really made the step up yet for whatever reason maybe he is missing Essex maybe he wasn't been played in his favoured position? Maybee he just wasn't good enough for the championship? Time will tell like I said big season for him make or break.

    You have to face facts sometimes, we've got a foreign investment company as owners who have overseen our relegation . Not a good start by anyone's standards . Thery're not like me and you who have an emotional attachment to the club so will inevitably sell any player for any profit .
