    Good stuff.

Nice to know it was thought about and arranged before hand.

I wonder if there is enough time to set up some kind of fan zone at the ground with a big screen to watch the England match? They would make quite a bit I would have thought and a Reds win followed by another “Reds” win would make it a great day out

What time is 12pm is it mid-day or mid-night? Not that I'm pedantic or anything. 12 pm is a tautology. As 12 o'clock is neither am or pm.

they should go with 24 hour clocks. then when we have those pesky midnight kick offs it would read 00:00.

When I was in the RAF there was no such thing as 12 midnight. It was always 2359.

I can understand that, because in army/police etc you always quote the full number in 24hr format i.e 0700hrs, 1435 hrs etc.... zero zero hundred hours doesnt quite roll off the tongue.

For the layperson however, i fail to see how it could be confusing for an adult. Everyone knows when the clock hits midnight a new day begins so its morning, and 12pm is lunchtime so therefore afternoon.

That doesn't make sense. When it's still 11:59:59 late in the morning it's still AM. As soon as you hit 12:00:00 it's PM. There is no point where it's neither.

I beg to differ. AM is short for "ante meridiem" before midday, PM short for "post meridiem" after midday. So As 12:00:00 is exactly midday it cannot be after midday as it is exactly midday any time after 12 noon can be described as PM.

As I said "not that I am being pedantic".

I've always been a bit confused by the logic behind it tbh.

12:01pm comes before 1:00pm but logically that makes no sense at all
