If the human race even survives nuclear holocaust over the next 100 years (unlikely).

Will BarnsleyFC still survive in a parallel universe?

Will some sad survivors in said universe (now having grown 3 extra heads), be typing away in a bunker about how we should not have sold Bradshaw to Millwall?

I am staring at Buddha (me in a mirror). I really don't give a ****

That why we must sign Akinfenwa, he’s the only footballer capable of withstanding nuclear devastation

I’m not sure who he’s going to play for/against etc afterwards but at least he might score a goal!

I had you down as tall with curly hair and a Tom Selleck moustache. You mean you don't actually look like John Peachey?
Maybe in a parallel universe you do?

Peachey was one of those players. Until he kicked a football he was a god.
The England team could have done with someone of his panache. Problem was, he was a bit ****. He got better under Clarke (you would, wouldn't you). A lot of people use the phrase "peachy" & I think "peachey". Hence, as Peachey already existed, I changed my name by deed poll.

Maybe in the parallel universe somebody might be able to explain why we have to go through the misery of the millions of thunderflies I'm having to put up with today.
What is their purpose in life ??????

He was a bit of a cult hero with me and my mates. Him and my actual hero, Brian Joicey, were mustard.

When people mention January 17 or brexit I dream of a nuclear holocaust to numb the boredom.

Joicey had a great season for us. Not looking owt up, but thought he got 30 goals for us? He was a Wednesday player, but he had the heart issue year after? Great goalscorer.

I've got a photo somewhere of him netting his 30th against Bournemouth. I'll dig it out and post it on here.
He was a top flight player at Coventry before going to Wednesday. He was too good for 4th Division defences.
Still one of my all time favourites.

Definitely. Mick Butler was the only good striker that had played for us up till then in my time (74/75).
Never netted 30 & no one has got close since. We've had some great strikers though. Joicey deserves a lot of credit.
