I'm guessing we won't see any until we sell/move on some of those we already have.

The new dawn feels more like Groundhog Day. Still hopefull but reality hasn’t been great so far.

At least if we are getting German World Cup players in they will have been available to talk earlier than expected!!

If we get to the middle of this month and there's still no new arrivals then I think it will be time to get seriously concerned and question what is going on.
Ideally we should have had most of our transfer business completed by now so any new signings had most of pre season to integrate into the existing group and work with the new head coach. Wonder if we will just go down the loan market route to supplement what we already have.

There's only one season I can recall when we made our first summer signing later than this...2003/04 when we had our transfer embargo lifted a day or two before the season started.

Depends on who Stendel wants to leave and who out of the Academy lads he thinks can make the step up. I'm assuming we'll see one of the Left Backs go if Williams has signed a 1st Team Contract and has a new squad number. If we keep the majority of this squad and trim some of the excess we don't need I can see the max of us needing 3/4 new permanent players and maybe 1/2 loans to supplement that. That's if we don't lose the likes of Lindsay, Mallan, Moore and Bradshaw, who I think will definitely shine in this league.

Hopefully we can retain those players you mention but I have a feeling Bradshaw will move on with only 1 year remaining on his contract as I dont think there's been any talk about a new deal for him. I also agree that one of Fryers or Pinillos likely to go with Williams stepping up and possibly Mowatt out the door too. I know a fair few on here would also like Moncur to be shown the exit door but I guess it's just a waiting game now!

If Ganaye was genuinely talking the truth then its either...
    A) We've been in negotiations with players and they've turned us down and decided to go elsewhere (which I guess we aren't going to reveal) or...
    B) We're still in negotiations with several players and awaiting a decision.

Hopefully it's the latter and we are close to getting some deals completed, the clock is ticking!!

I have said it before, last close season we had to replace 16 players this close season we are probably looking for maybe four , the new H/C has been in th be involved in the recruitment but has only been in the hot seat for 5 days so patience will be required but the one thing that everyone wanted was players being tied down to longer contracts, now we have that people are worried because we are not making signings , the thing is, we made those signings last season

Why is it at the beginning of every season poster are wanting new signings straight away, it feels like anyone will do.
We have a new head coach he as to look at every player at the club and asess them, he may think his staff is good enough or if he wants new players these players he wants may not want to come remember we are a 1 division club or the cost is rediculous, we will just have to wait and see the club's in good hands.
