Anyone recommend one that would get me to the point where I can legally get on the road and endanger lives? In exchange for a signed Lewin Nyatanga shirt. Seriously though, wanting to have some lessons over there in a month or so. Cheers. And to the chap who hates threads like this, I hope threads like this appear all night now. Because - funny. But aye, get me a driving instructor. You Reds n that.
I can’t recommend an instructor but I will recommend doing a semi-intensive course like I did. Do a few hours a day most days over a few weeks then take your test and get it out of the way. I couldn’t be on with taking a year to learn doing an hour or two a week. You get so used to driving it becomes second nature after a week or two. No time to forget between each lesson or become nervous again.
Loads suggest this. But there’s a problem with that. I have a job that takes up 12 hours of my day. So I wouldn’t have the time to do an intensive. I’m looking at once a week on a lunch break. Rather learn over there where I know the roads. Cheers though.
Fair enough. I worked 10 hours a day plus travel time at the time until I became a part time skiver I did 2 hours a day 3 days midweek in the evening and then 4 hours on a Saturday. Took me 3 weeks to clock up 30 hours and take my test. I appreciate it’s not for everyone though. Best of luck!
Don’t get me wrong, I’d have loved to have done it. But it was either go on holiday with my annual leave in June or do the intensive. After the previous nine months, that holiday was well earned and well needed.
Ahhh. Was hoping to bribe them with a free ticket. But in all seriousness, not sure if it’d be a good thing having a fan pick me up from Oakwell and chew my ear off about how amazing the season is while I plough the car into a lamppost. Edit: can you message me his number? Ta.
Really disgusting and arrogant for employees of our football club to be taking lunch breaks. I hope this hubris doesn't extend to Stendel? Had hoped he was putting in a solid 16 hrs a day since the 'watching the world cup with a pint' scandal.
Get an Asian instructor from Bradford or keefly. They only appear to teach the locals how to lower the seat down almost horizontally and to go really fast with out a consideration for other drivers.
My daughter passed first time with a guy called Dwayne Johnson (honest!). She was impressed by him. I believe he's based at Wilthorpe. Of course, now she tells all her mates that the The Rock taught her how to drive
Look up Intuiton Driving School Barnsley on Facebook mate. Guy called Steve Elsworth from Caxton Street. Top Bloke. I have to say that though as he was my best man when I got married in Cyprus
