    You're right, that appears to be it. Just had my son have a look on the strength of this thread, but that's all he found too.
    Would really, really welcome him to stay though. That Brentford match, where he played central, just proved he can still do a job, even if he has lost a yard of pace and his flying wingman days are behind him.
    Furthermore, an experienced player who loves this club, for me, makes him captain material.

    Heard this last ast night, apparently his agent has been back to the club trying to negotiate a 1 year deal with the option for a 2nd year.

    It would be a fantastic signing if we could agree a deal with him. England in the Semi Finals just two games away from winning the World Cup and Hammill staying with us. I'm getting giddy now.

    Haha we will see, guess it will come down to wages amongst other things MK. One thing is for certain, the lad is barnsley through and through, he could probably go abroad and earn more money but he clearly loves the club and area. Fingers crossed they manage to conclude a deal shortly and he's back on the Oakwell turf next season.
