    Bloody hell I'd forgot there was even a game. Easy to forget York are now a conference north side but even then, very positive result.

    Anyone make the trip? Many reds fans there?

    I know every year people say friendlies don't mean anything, but I prefer them to win. 7-1 v York is much better and instils far more confidence than 0-4 v Rotherham.

    Not many teams score seven with seven different scorers too. Granted it's conference north opposition, but it's still very pleasing to see. It looks like our high intensity, high pressing style is starting to show. Plenty of academy youngsters pressing for more game time next season. They must have taken the lead with a fluke.

    I did, attendance was over 500 with about 200 and odd Barnsley fans.

    it asid 531 fans at tonights game with 230 from Barnsley but to honhest it looked more like 230 from york.
    enjoyable game two vey differant 11 for both halves the second 11 IMO played the better
    Mowett was slim and very fit thiam looked excellent on and off the ball
    the first 11 the defence looked a little shakey at times but overall a good result with a few tweeks we may have a good chance at top 6 this is in my opinion
