    Whatever was said to Modrich at half time worked wonders. He became a different player and their team never looked back.
    Even when we were chasing the game we didn't know what to do.
    Captain Kane was non existent, Alli was on the sofa here with me, Sterling has a big bum and not much else, etc etc.
    Was chuffed to bits for Trippier, first thing I blurted out to the wife was that he used to play for Barnsley.
    Anyway, well done to Croatia... they fully deserved the win and the glory.

    Unfortunately Croatia dictated the play in the second period. They forced us back.
    We didn't take our chances in the first half. Should have been three up after 40 minutes.
    Let's not forget Croatia have players who represent some of the biggest Clubs in the World and
    against a young tiring England team, that class eventually came to the fore.
    France to win it now for me. Unfortunately also think Belgium will have a bit too much for us
    on Saturday. But well done England, to get as far as they did.
