    He lived on my old mans street when my Dad was growing up.

    We dropped on him once at a Hotel in Town. Quite funny him and my Dad talking about how my old man was playing football on the street and constantly knocking on his door for his 'ball back Mr'.

    Boycott had a place on Poole quay overlooking Brownsea Island close to Harry Rednapps former mansion.
    Liam Gallagher and Paul McCartney had holiday homes nearby.
    Don't know whether Boycs still has a property there because the area became renowned for burglaries.
    The properties targeted were mainly those of the " Stars" who quite often were away for long periods.
    Police were at a complete loss as to how the thieves knew who to target, until a senior policeman went on
    a Bournemouth to Poole leisure " cruise" with his family. Shortly after leaving Bournemouth the tour operator started a commentary on the Mic, along the lines of " the clifftop bungalow to your left, belongs to Tony Blackburn when he's here, the one next door is owned by Paul McCartney but he's rarely ever there etc etc. Apparently it turned out the gang carrying out the thefts were all from Liverpool, who had simply taken the cruise to identify their targets. They netted a fortune before they were
    eventually caught.
