We’re really happy to let you know that Redfearn’s Bar is back for a 5th year next season! Run by volunteers, Redfearn’s provides a match day venue at Oakwell suitable for all football fans (including families with children) every home match, including cup games and playoffs We serve locally brewed cask ales from Acorn Brewery, Carling lager and cider, and various bottles of ciders and craft beers, along with soft drinks and tea / coffee. Our food offering is usually Percy Turners pork pie with peas, only the best will do!! We keep prices as low as possible so that we are accessible to all fans. Our volunteers enable us to keep prices sensible, so if you’d like to help out on a matchday, even for half an hour, we’d love to hear from you. Between 11am and midday is our key time for needing assitance, along with just before kick off (clearing the bar). The money you spend with us is used by Barnsley FC Supporters Trust, for fan projects at oakwell, the BFC Academy and we also make lots of donations to charity. See you all next season!
From when ive been in i think ive seen about ten drinkers and 25 kids bored and 75 sat around taking a seat using it as an hostel / rest area / waffle talking / area.
Its full every game pal so you either came in at 12 on a match day before everyone arrives or before we ran it and it was was called Preedys
Can you install a box for a couple of old, grumpy buggers please, old mate? Oh, and a wine list, too!
Don't want to give you extra work to do but would you be able to take a look at that page and try to simplify it a little? Ive seen it a few times over the years and I find it really hard to tell the difference between the different membership types. For example free members get "Free entrance to regular fans forum meetings" full members get "Free entrance to fans forum" is that the same forums or different? Theyre worded different. Also the coming soon benefits have been coming soon for a few years haven't they? And another question is do you get a badge with the free membership? If not how do they know you're a member at redfearns? Not a complaint or anything just a query. If you do change the page can I suggest some kind of table where the benefits are ticked? It shows the difference better and might get more paid members
No, you are right we've been sorting that out for a few years and it does need looking at. You get a membership card though to answer your question about Redfearns which you show on the door (whichever type of member you are)
