    the worst team to win the World Cup in my years watching it (66 first one)unlike the last time they won it which was well deserved.

    2002 Brazil team was gash. Turkey and South Korea got the Semi Finals FFS - that was bad WC man. And that Spanish final in South Africa - pants.

    I wouldn't say that. From the second game it was clear they were a contender. It just sticks in my craw that they have scored 4 and 2 of them were very unjust. One of them was out and out cheating. Taints the result for me.

    After their first two games they've been very good. Didn't deserve to be ahead at the break today but the two goals after that were brilliant and they're worthy winners imo.

    Not just on abart the final, they have been poor all through the Tournament IMO.

    I think it’s neen a brilliant World Cup tbh.
    Yes there’s been better teams in other world cups but imo it’s been brilliant .
    We’ve had var which had added entertainment imo and we’ve had an interest up to the last weekend unlike other years where we’ve had no interest or finished first half of tournament.
    All in all I’ve enjoyed it this year and o think the Russians have to take great credit pity about its human rights etc .

    Var failed on so many levels in this World Cup. To stay on topic, the penalty that France got vs Australia in the first game simply wasn’t one. Fifa are as corrupt as they’ve always been.

    I wish we were as bad as them. Nowhere near as good as the 1998 winners, but that's my favourite winning team in my lifetime.

    Yes that’s true but it’s caught a lot more than let go imo .
    It’s not perfect and it still needs work but it’s the way to go imo . Sick of hand of god situations etc

    The worst team? I was just thinking that I can't remember the last time I've seen anyone win the tournament so comfortably. France never looked like not winning it!

    FIFA may indeed be as corrupt as ever, but even though I can't remember the penalty decision that you mention, I really doubt that corruption has anything to do with it
