Unfortunately it’s taken a big hold in this country too .
Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected so many homeless tolerated especially ex service personnel as well.
They’d more right wing rhetoric doing the rounds now and choose what people say to justify it it’s rigjt wing propaganda with a finger pointing attitude at scapegoats that has caused it .
Be it immigrants , jobless or disabled people have found reasons to justify it to themselves and turned on them .
People don’t ,won’t admit it but it is exactly how fascist, nazi or r other right wing groups get power .
I know people will say it’s rudiculous to compare to these parties but that is how they started out before showing their real agendas

Your not wrong in what your saying , but you have to understand that the democrats , and their incumbent presidents act in exactly the same manner . They merely pretend to be "for the people ". Take glass steagall , set up by FDR and repealed by bill Clinton in 1999 . Glass steagall was set up to stop banks becoming too big to fail . And what happens in 2008 ? Yep , and your taxes were used to monetize that debt and prop up a corrupt banking system .
I'm not saying trumps brilliant , far from it . But to pretend that everything was great , then trump comes along and suddenly everything's bad is a false narrative.

And just think, had the last 3 governments listened to their constituents concerns we wouldn’t be lumbered with the unknown shinnagigans of brexit but how far do you go back? If a Labour government hadn’t invaded Iraq then maybe we wouldn’t have lost all those children at an arianna grande concert. If the Tory ******** hadn’t decimated heavy industry we may not have an entire society that disconnected with work that the amount of tax required is so unsustainable. Really, how far do you go back?

The wake up call here is that the latter would be motivated by racism, which is hate-driven, whereas the balloon against Trump is simply because he is a lovely person, i.e. driven by c*ntiness.

American politics is a total mess. Democratic as well as republican senators and congressmen are in thrall to "donors". It's incredibly difficult to pass legislation that benefits the common good rather than rich interest groups.
I'm not saying Obama was a saint.....but compared to Trump he virtually was.
The ripping apart if the EPA. It's removal of science based evidence from its website and scientists from its personnel. Just one unbelievable example of the utter destruction Trump is enabling.
I can't envisage any US government being elected under their present system who I'd wholly trust. But Trump!?.....come on.

A chat? Are you kidding? Manx your avatar and the info written underneath it say more about you and how you're perceived than anything I can put into words.
You may be a great guy in real life but quite frankly I'm willing to miss the chance of finding out in the fairly certain knowledge that I'd be disappointed.

Okay . Some people may compare trump to Hitler , and that's a flawed argument , but for the the purpose of debate let's say trump is the equivalent of Adolf . Why did Germans start voting racist back in the day ? Out of the blue ? Nope . A combination of ww1 / the versiailles treaty / hyper inflation / wall Street crash ( the main reason ) , war reperations etc etc . Why do you think people voted trump?, because to understand that behaviour is to understand the current faults within American politics.

Clinton was an awful candidate. Far too divisive. Nevertheless despite all her flaws to vote for Trump and ever consider he was going to seriously help the working classes and "drain the swamp" was just madness.

Please don't offer to meet and fight people on the internet(I remember you did this on another thread not too long a go too). It won't make people think you look hard, in fact just makes you look a bit daft and immature, as well as losing you any credibility that your argument may have...

There is never any credibility in his posts. They’re not even arguments, mainly bile coming from an individual who according to his posts is a total *****. Perhaps a collective ignore of his posts would be best suited here?
Edit: Oh and if you’re looking for further reaction, save your time I won’t respond Manxtyke

It was more the "offering out" that amused me. I thought people stopped doing that when they left school?

I have not ever offered anybody out as you put it , just for people to turn up and have a chat about the error of their ways by showing them at a Properly organised shoot how none of the problems they persist in shouting about cannot happen, the only bile and vitriol aimed has been at me by people who have no idea about what me and many other shooters do . I thank you for your understanding on this point. Hth

Let's be honest, we both know what you mean by "chat". Even in the "Bexit Means Brexit" thread, you ask a few posters out for one of our famous "chats", while proceeding to call one a coward and "Soft Lad". It just sounds like something my teenagers would send to folk in school they have a problem with. Adults shouldn't be posting things like that..

What I can’t get my head round is this stupid argument that you can’t protest about Trump as you didn’t protest about the Saudi or Turkish leaders. What’s the relevance? It’s just nonsense getting repeated by people spreading Trump propaganda like his mate Piers Morgan.

It’s a bit like me saying to someone ‘you can’t protest about that brothel on the end of your street where your kids play as you didn’t protest about that brothel on the residential street in Sheffield last week’.

People protest about what impacts them the most, throughout my lifetime whenever America go to war or do something important on a world scale we tend to align ourselves with them so of course it’s much more important to your average Brit who the President of the US than who’s in charge in countries in the Middle East.

Your average person has no idea about the disgraceful actions of Saudi Arabia in Yemen because our media barely report it. The same can be said of the Turks with the Kurds.

Trump’s clearly not fit for office, the clip of him answering a question on Brexit was genuinely scary. I’m not the type to go protesting but I don’t blame anyone that does.

I’ve been honest, and that fact that you’ve be trawling through old posts to make your point and still can’t find anything proves my point, your willingness to spread fake news to back up your opinions is not a good thing and the banter with regards to your other points is just that Bants , take it on the chin soft lad and move on :)
