So my wife and I have just had our 20 week scan and we were told we are having a boy!

Immediately from leaving the hospital I went to Oakwell and bought a BFC cushion, Toby Tyke teddy, Toby Tyke clock and a baby grow.

The wifes dad is a Leeds fan so need to set the little one on the right path from day one

Congratulation on the lovely news. You did the right thing, but it's not like the grandad has a say in it anyway :)

I'm wanting my Granddaughter, Amara, to become a Barnsley fan. Her other Granddad is wanting her to become a Manchester United fan, like him. If she takes no interest in football, she'll just be the same as all Manchester United fans!!:D:D

I should have worded what I said better. I meant to say a grandad has a say if they are a Barnsley fan, that's the exception :D

Well done and congrats BUT..... are you trying to stunt the lad's growth? He may not thank you in time to come.

Fantastic news Disco. Nothing better in the World. We've got three boys. I swear straight after
each birth, I have never ever seen my wife look as bonny or happier in her life. A truly wonderful
moment. One of my wife's relatives having a baby, gave the family one of the funniest things we always
recall every time there's now a birth in the family.
Prior to delivery her Auntie Lucy had really bad stomach cramps because she was constipated.
She underwent a long period of labour which left her hot and sweaty and the stomach ache returned.
She's a Wombwell lass with a very broad Barnsley accent. Whilst still in the delivery room, the Nurse asked
her if she would like an enema.?
Aunty Lucy's reply was " Lass 'ar cud sup owt'"!!!! Still makes us all laugh to this very day.

I have been ordered to have a small bottle of Prosecco on the ready!

In all seriousness, I am really looking forward to that moment.... I can't imagine that there is anything that compares to it.

    :)
look. no messing about. Big lil. Tell them outright you'll cut them out of their inheritance. Usually works. Disco. Tell the child at the first chance when he understands. No barnsley .no pocket money. Don't like bribery. But in these cases totally acceptable. :)

I think a mixture of direct bribery and subtle manipulation should do the trick!
