Shouldn’t be allowed but then again all them down in Surrey should be able to afford it

That's for the actual player version... the normal home shirt is 65 apparently. Still extortionate.

I don’t get this “player version” in recent times. The replica kits are expensive enough.

Noticed that Sheff Wednesday were selling their “player versions” for £99 too. Why anyone would pay that for that ***** is beyond me.

Plus they know the armchair MUTV fans will want to prove their questionable allegence by buying one.

Oh no - I cant afford to spend that on a football shirt will just have to go without :)

Its an outrageous price especially considering how much it will cost them to be made in China or wherever

It's a similar problem that me and my mates had in the late 80's early 90's. Just before Italia '90, we all wanted the England shirt. Thing is, the replica shirt market wasn't like it is now, where every man and his dog had one. Half of us ended up wit the real deal, Umbro job, and the other half ended up with a knock off from the market. Those with the knock off got some right stick, which led to them begging their poor parents for a real on.

Similar thing will happen with these "real shirts". The kids that come come from better off families will con their parents into paying for the mega expensive ones, and those that end up with the "bog standard" £45 job, will get bullied mercilessly. It's just not right...

    Good point that!

I've a mate over Merseyside way that buys his family their shirts from DHGate in China. Works out at between £7 and £9 each, and nobody has ever been able to tell the are dodgy, not even his nephews who got the shirts for x-mas as they even came in proper looking New Balance packaging and even had a knock off Liverpool club shop carrier bag...

Yep it’s exactly like that. They’ve been doing it for years with boots so I’m surprised it’s taken this long to do it with shirts/kits to be honest.
