    Be a great place for him to go Burnley IMO. They have Europa League football next season, he will be a certain starter there and most importantly will get to work with Sean Dyche who has done brilliantly in recent years bringing defenders on massively. The likes of Michael Keane, Ben Mee and Tarkowski all gone to Burnley and done superbly well in last few years.

    It’s refreshing that we are using these clauses imo . For too long clubs outside the top division with very little influence have been fleeced

    Free transfer wasn’t it? I think his contract expired at Brentford but we had to give them some compensation.

    This is all from memory though so could be completely wrong.
