Didnt realise Steve Earle was playing, not a massive fan myself but still quite a big name to be playing there,
I’ve seen Steve Earle a few times , he’s good live , should be a good weekend again At Cawthorne. I’ve been a few times and although it’s not really my genre of music they’ve had some top drawer musicians playing over the years and entertaining bands ( not just folk) The beer tent has always been good beer on particularly when Thornbridge ran it a few years ago . It’s at a different venue this year , still Cawthorne but not at the Farm any more . Apparently they are directing people off the motorway at Hague through Kexborough !!!
Yes, Steve Earle has done some great stuff in more recent times. Will be a good gig that. I'm DJing down in Edale, so won't be there sadly.
Entrance is at the bottom of Cawthorne Lane just before the narrow Bridge. It's at Cinderhill farm as it has got that big cannon Hall Farm can not stage it anymore. Looking at the amount of tents and everything down there at the minute you can see why, looks like a big top circus
Cracking outfit the Steve Earle Band. Will go down very well. Loves wedding cake does Steve. Been married 7 times, twice to the same woman.!!
