I dont mind admitting it, at the moment I think we are 'staying in Lg One' for another season at least.
And if we sell either Moore or Bradshaw and replace them with just U23s or some unknown lower league cast offs again, then mid table or top half is the best we can hope for.

Basing mine on the current squad with a couple of additions.
Would be very disappointed if we aren't in the top 6 for most of the season.

We also seem to have a positive motivational coach.
    How novel :)

Tahh for that, and hey if Im wrong about this team of ours, then believe me it wouldn't be the first time lol.
Im hoping for the top 6 but its an underwhelming feeling at the moment. And yes I suppose a post-relegation season does that to us.

Keep Moore and Bradshaw, and add a defensive midfield player, I think we will go close.

Lose one or both and add little to replace, we might be in tier three for a year or four.

As it stands I hope it’s the former so I’ve said up.

Top two has to be our target. As things stand currently I think we'll achieve it.

Even if they both stay though, are we expecting too much to begin with from the Moore & Bradshaw partnership. Surely they will both be a handful for the other Lg One defenders/keepers, but goals count of course as we found out again last season.

Up, for me. We've never won a title in my lifetime, so it'd be nice to tick that off, too.
    Ah, well. I can dream.:D

    Provided we hold onto our best players;

Up via playoffs if we add a good holding/box to box CM (EG Sam Morsy)

Top 2 if we add a good holding/box-box midfield & a quality winger (EG Adam Hammill/Harry champman)

Champions if we add a good holding midfield, quality winger, a Pacey forward who can score plenty at L1 level (Eg Adam Armstrong)

I am not saying we could sign those specific players but those types of players/that kind of quality.

Honestly that forum is horrendous at times. Was going to mention it on here before but wasn’t sure how many people read it.

Why does Gauthier get a daily dig thrown at him?

No players sold, add a defensive minded midfielder and a winger and I think automatic places/top play off places is where we’ll be at.

Would be lovely to go back up at the first attempt.

Id say we're being realistic Colliers, and I dont want to get carried away either because Ive seen what that can do!.
If I were a better Id suggest we're going to finish about 8-10th, but dont put any money on that.

I hope you're right but weren't you convinced we were going to stay up last season, right down to the last day? It's not going to be easy next season whatever happens.

Anything can happen this season - and as I’ve said in a previous post this all depends on one thing - and that’s how good Stendel gauges the quality and physical strength of players and teams in this division.

If he’s assessed it right then we should easily get automatic promotion.
If he’s underestimated the league then we will struggle.

It’s very interesting that he hasn’t opted to bring any new players in yet.

IMO - the players from last season are easily good enough - but with all the departures in the summer then we are short of numbers in certain positions.
However - most of us don’t know how good the latest batch of young players are.
    Hopefully Stendel does.
