I can see Bradshaw scoring 25+ in league one. Moore isn't a great goalscorer but he will cause a lot of problems.

Our current squad should be champions with 100 plus points.

Still a couple more weeks to keep it together.

I agree with most of this. I don't think it hinges entirely on how Stendel approaches things, but in theory a lot of our players should be good enough to compete as they've played at this level before. Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.

Think Bradshaw will go. One year left. Policy of club is pretty clear. Decent offer & he's gone. He's never going to sign a new contract.

    I hope you're wrong but I won't be surprised if you're right.

I’m not so sure, why keep playing him in friendlies if we’re going by that 100%? Gaining his fitness for another team?

I think if the bid from Millwall is actually £850K then they’re a long way off what we’d want and, unless they up their bid, I don’t think he’s going anywhere.

I think it depends entirely on the offers we receive. If his suitors don't meet our valuation then he'll still be here, so we act accordingly and plan for that eventuality, including him in friendlies. But if they do (as we get closer to deadline day, if the clubs that rate him haven't found an alternative they will increase the offer) then he'll go.

You’re going to be bitterly disappointed when we get nowhere near. Squad isn’t good enough and with this joke of a board not willing to spend, I’m afraid it’s the least we deserve.

I agree we are short in a couple of positions. Your negativity is as breathtaking as most of your other posts.

I'm not someone who is always a "happy clapper", but surely let's get to the end of the transfer window & the start of the new season, before you cut your wrists.

Same dreck that bottled it at the end of last year with no additions - not sure what this "good squad" is that two-thirds of the posters are seeing. 10th-12th place, I reckon, unless Stendel can work miracles.

If we come straight back up, or even take two seasons like last time I'll take that. The previous spell in league one seemed a long time.

Can't put time limits on things though, unless you chuck money at it.

The most important thing for me is what we do when we come back up.

You do realise that we are in a division lower right? And that the difference between the championship and league 1 is huge, as proved by Wigan, Blackburn and Rotherham all struggling massively in the championship yet all then bouncing straight back up.

I think it might go a little higher that the rumoured figure possibly. I don’t think it will get close to what we are wanting for him though.

We don't "deserve" anything. We pay our money and take our chances. No one gives guarantees.

We have hung on to other players in the past in the same contract position, until at least january , I am hoping this happens & then have a look where we are
