Who do you think will be out stand out performer this season in league 1 ?

I think Brad Potts will score at least 10 and become our stand out player.

It will be interesting to see how many different names comes up, if it's a lot then it shows we could potentially a strong squad.

I agree re: Potts, I think he will be outstanding this season but I rate him anyway and thought he did ok last season (playing in the middle). I also think Bradshaw, if we keep him, will be outstanding. I can see him scoring 25+ goals.

I'll put my kneck on line here I think thiam will have a good season if played on the wing and prove alot of his doubters wrong. Potts will also do well in this league imo.

Potts & Moncur for me. Should be quite potent from central midfield with McGeehan or Mowatt sitting deeper.

I think Moore and Bradders will get 40 between them, but like any strikers will need service. Which is why it’s a shame that Hammill has gone..

I think Pinnock will excel at the back, as maybe Lindsay will too.

Think Potts might well do ok.

Agree with others about Potts. I also think Moore will be a handful for all defenders and Bradshaw will finish the chances. Whether these 3 players are all still here come September is another question. Hopefully they are though.

Anyone going to elaborate on why they think Potts will do so well?

Moore is starting to show his nasty side. I’ve watched the WBA game back and he had quite a few tussles with defenders and is not afraid of using his elbows.

If he can use that aggression to good effect and learn to take a touch at critical times, like the last minute for example, he could turn into an Andy Carroll type centre forward, with a big transfer value to match.

The lads attitude has never been in doubt, always gives 100% and has a great engine so there’s two boxes already ticked there.

A third box you could say is the step down in quality from championship to league one. He showed glimpses of what he’s capable of in the division above so theoretically he’ll be able to play to a consistent higher standard in a league below?

He should also do well with the managers tactics being brought in, which require good fitness levels for the high pressing system Stendel uses.

It’s all guesswork end of the day though until Oxford at home. You reds!

George Moncur is our most naturally talented player, so I hope all the promise comes good for him this season.
