Pinnock should do ok as he is used to playing against cart horses of the James Hanson type. Their CVs say that Bradshaw and Moncur should do well but Bradshaw needs service and the other one needs to realise it's BFC not the George Moncur show.

Pinnock for me too. He was excellent last winter for a few games till he got injured. Tuesday's balls-up for one of WBA's goals is hopefully the last such mistake this season.

I suspect a poor first half of season, or sporadic flashes against teams he doesn't have to try against. A better second half of season with quite a few goals. Just as he's out of contract.

Pinnock for one. I'd like to think that Mowatt and McGeehan will deliver after a frustrating start to their Reds careers. Add Moncur to that. With more experience I think Walton will become a key player too. When you think about it there's a lot of players who've not yet delivered but still seem to have the potential to do so.

I'm open minded. As soon as we were relegated I gave everyone who remained a clean sheet.

Different division. Competitive yes, but not full of big earners and ex premier/premier league bound players.

Rather than having stand out individuals I'm hoping for a stand out team.

I hope one or two players realty shove it up some of the posters on here though. Thiam especially.

All of a sudden these players that were getting slaughtered on here last year are now seemingly going to become world beaters a division below, hope it happens but they are still young uns with a lot to learn.

May take time to get that confidence crushing relegation out of their system.

Not slaughtered by everyone, and there's a difference between having faith in them and calling them world beaters.

Hopefully everyone at the club will have drilled into the players that they were good enough to have stayed up last season and the fault for going down was the appointment of the replacement for Heckingbottom. I would hope GG and whoever else was involved have accepted culpability there.

I know not all agree - but I’m convinced that had Morais not been given the job, if they’d appointed pretty much anyone else, or given Harsley the rest of the season or even, dare I say it, if Heckingbottom hadn’t left at all, we’d have survived.

Thats gone though, this squad looks to me competitive for this level, and they’ve added the one player which to my eye they were short of.

I’d imagine a couple might leave still, maybe one or two to replace them, but as long as we don’t lose all of Potts, Bradshaw and Moore I’m confident.

    Roll on next Sat’dy

I'm not writing anyone off yet. I do think we have too many central midfielders still, so maybe one will go if the right offer comes in.
Had thought Mowatt was probably the one to go, but he looked decent vs WBA. Expecting Potts, Pinnock, Jackson and Moore to be the ones to watch.

    Ryan hedges.

I think he'd rip this league a new one.

No not slaughtered by everyone, and my world beaters was a bit OTT but then some folk are going a bit OTT in their assessments IMO of course. Just seems a bit Wendy on here by some posters.

Good point. I think we have 2 good wide players. Neither really managed much game time. Both could be amazing, but I'd like another one in the mix, as we have lost Adam & McBurnie

I would have preferred we kept Adam. But if that gives ryan his chance suppose I can understand. He gave some defences trouble in the championship so I'm sure he will do well in league 1.

I do agree we could do with another. Injuries and suspensions can quickly knock us out of shape
