Just wondered how the fanbase was made up of on here. I tend to fall into the category of Season Ticket Holder + Attend Some Away Fixtures
Live about 80 miles away. Until last season I had a season ticket and went to about a dozen away games (league and cup) - used to be more until my mate became permanently chained to his Mrs and I had to go on my own/with dad (if a northern game) This season I've not got a season ticket but will probably make a dozen home games and same away.
I can imagine that's about the distance where you always think, should I, shouldn't I... Ends up being an expensive trip petrol etc..
I had a season ticket from prem season until last few years, but now I go as my mates helper as he's almost completely blind. We split the cost of his and his nephews season tickets to keep it fair - although I've yet to take him up on his offer to share the driving I'm having a second wind with away games. Currently only missed 1 over last two seasons. Much prefer the aways these days.
I and my two grandsons are season ticket holders who go to all home matches & the occasional away game & of course frequent Wembley visits !
You must be at Coningsby? Sad recent news about Scampton and Linton closing. I only ever played football at Scampton and Coningsby but Linton was my first posting after training. I live not far from there now and it's going to feel strange when the direction signs come down. It's always been this way though. When I joined in 1970 the Stations map looked quite different!
Used to go regular home games as pay on the day. Dad and brother had season tickets since mid 90s. We all stopped going after the crap Keith Hill dished up. Haven't been since but do follow online and listen and watch when i can. I work on Saturday anyway and we used to shut to go to matches.
didnt miss a game last season home and away,st holder east stand lower, usually do 15 aways but a went out of control last season lol
UK supporter, season ticket for 25 years but disliked the previous ownership so I stopped going to home games and just went to some aways.

I’m at Waddington now but live just outside Metheringham. RAF Lincolnshire is definitely getting smaller, unfortunately the workload isn’t
St holder from last season again having had one before but not for about ten years. Me and the son attend most home games, miss some, usually midweek games, due to work commitments but the st still works out best value. We got to a few away last season but not many. My daughter is coming to her first game this Saturday, bought her a match ticket next to us, if she gets the bug I’ll upgrade her to a st as well.
Emigrated to Norway in 1987! Season ticket holder before then.. went to nearly all away matches too! I use iFollow for every match
This coming season is my 50th consecutive as a season ticket holder (out of a total of 51). Does it mean that I'm a better fan? Does it buggery! Does it mean I'm an old sod? You betcha!
what is the real point of this post.... it seems to be a kind of a witch hunt/ holier than thou post.
ST holder since 90/91, regular since 80/81, 3rd of 4 generations to support Barnsley. Away games, used to do nearly all until family arrived, pick and choose now.
