Really hoping for top 2. Would be nice to see us gain automatic promotion, its been a while Really depends on what strikers we start and end the season with. Confident about midfield and central Defence now. full backs, not sure keeper not sure
I think top six. If we start well we could win the league. I think much depends how long it takes for the players to adapt to their 3rd manager in a short space of time. The raw materials to be strong at this level are there, just needs the right formation that suits them, imho.
Top with 100+ points, playing like Wolves did when they went straight back up from this level a few years ago. About time we were champions for a change.
I’m expecting (hoping for?) a solid play off push possibly with a go at automatic. Incidentally, sky sports posted a video of predictions and have us challenging at the top. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ionship-league-one-and-league-two-this-season
I've never seen us challenge for automatic promotion throughout a season, and without seeing this team play a minute in league one I think they could be capable of top 2. I reckon 6th/7th though.
Challenging in the top 6 is what i would expect. Much depends on how the midfield clicks and one of Mowatt Potts McGheegan needs to shine. Think we need to sign a couple of creative players still.
I think we have every chance of finishing in the top 6. We have a very good group of young players. There will be a stumble or two & how we deal with that will determine whether we finish top 2 or in the playoffs. I'm really looking forward to it. The new manager seems to be inspirational. I hope that come the second half of the season the fans will give us the momentum we had under Hecky. I can understand at the moment it will be down to us hardcore supporters to do that, just like the Danny Wilson promotion year. Patience.
